In tune with the site’s slope towards the lake in the north, the villa housed its larger fenestrations towards the north, which brings in soft light in the day and beautiful sunset views from the open pool deck. As a morphological relationship, the linearity of this house is broken up into three pieces, each with a south-sloping roof and connected with bridges and passages. This allows the landscape of the site to become one with the built form.

The glass bridge towards the Sanctuary Room on the west opens up a scenic transition from the public spaces into the private room, complete with an expansive view of the lake. While the Bridge Room stays connected to the public spaces, a corridor leads you to the Secret Garden Room at the east end of the house, looking over the lake and the food forest planted on the east side.

The combination of solid wood and mid-century modern furniture sits beautifully within the pristine white and grey of the structure. Additional elements like a net bed, a spa & jacuzzi room, and a bonfire pit all add to the leisure aura of the space.

The open deck merges into the swimming pool, which creates a visual infinity edge into the lake water. The changing landscapes with their fixed elements create a frame for the backwaters, perfectly framing the unbeatable views of the environment.
