№ 14 — The Project

A micro resort where transparent glass skins wrap three solid stone cores, the volumes reading as an echo of the mountain ranges around them.

Amoha Villas sits on the fringe of the Gautami Godavari dam at Beze, a six-bedroom villa with three cottages set across eighty thousand square feet. The property looks out to the Sahyadri ranges on one side and the open backwaters on the other, and the plan was drawn so that both views stay in play from almost anywhere on the site.

Three stone cores anchor the built form. Glass wraps around them, so the heavy and the light sit against each other and the mass of each volume reads the way the hills behind them do. Twelve thousand square feet of building is spread rather than stacked, keeping the resort low against the land.

The studio carried the project from layout planning through structural architecture, interiors and landscape, with Shreenand Dabir as contractor and project manager. Photographs by Pranit Bora. The completed resort was published on ArchDaily in 2026.
